Duke De Frates Started the West Covina Dukes in 1995 because he got
tired of leagues putting up fences on what he wanted to acomplish.
Having a team as a stepping stone for High School and college though
education and basic skills using baseball as a tool for success. Some ex
duke players Mike Young (Texas Rangers), Mike Lamb(Houston Astros),
Danny Haren(St Louis Cardinals) are currently in the Majors with
others in the minor leagues, and College. Some Dukes are now coaching
themself. Duke born in California playing Second base in High School,
College has 3 brothers and one sister Phil, Dave, Mike, and Patricia.
Dukes favorite memory is when his team had to beat texas twice in the
1997 CABA World Championship game.
